"My daughter started dancing with Miss Abby five years ago. She did not want to attend the first ballet class. She was extremely shy and had had an unpleasant experience at another dance school. I had to beg her to go and promised that if she didn't like the first class she wouldn't have to go back again. She returned and began to bloom in the ballet and jazz classes. Her teachers at school noticed improvement in her poise and self-confidence. Elizabeth admires Ms. Abby as a teacher and a role model. Encouragement from Miss Abby and the experience of performing on stage with her classmates helped Elizabeth to emerge from a shell of painful shyness. Elizabeth's 'dance friends' are among her best friends. She has made new friends dancing and helping to choreograph numbers in her high school's spring musical. She finds joy in movement and music. Through the years, our children have participated in several extracurricular activities. As parents of three children, we are always searching for the perfect class with the perfect teacher. We were extremely fortunate to have met Abby four years ago. During our first dance class with Abby, she came out into the lobby to meet our whole family and spent a few minutes with our oldest daughter. She immediately handled my daughter's fears and nervousness with her loving nature and amazing intuitiveness. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw my daughter smile and began prancing toward the dance room door; Abby right beside her. Since our three year old still had very limited speech and difficulty with hearing and social interactions, one can imagine just how important it was for us to ensure an extremely successful experience without frustrations. As I wiped a tear from my eye, I knew our daughter would have an amazing first dance class. They bonded immediately and the bond has been growing ever since.

Abby is one of the most talented instructors I have ever met. She is not only an amazing and passionate dancer, but is an exceptional teacher. Abby raises every dancer's self-esteem, making them all individually feel they are the best dancers! She is positive and encouraging with all the dancers both in and out of class. She possesses all the qualities you would ever want a child to admire. She is so honest, professional and mature, creating a great balance for both a teacher and a business owner. We are extremely excited to be a part of Abundance Academy of Dance…a place I think we will call our second home for years to come.

These individuals pieces of art will always remain in my mind because, not only are they amazing, they give me a reason to love what I am doing. I have never loved an activity as much as dance and I have my two wonderful teachers to thank. Not only are they amazing people and dancers, they are amazing role models as well. "Dancing with Ms. Abby has taught us to continue to be a better dancer and that we will want to reach to be the best we can be. Ms. Abby doesn't make us feel pressured to become a better dancer so we want to learn. We always want to learn and do better because we know we have a goal of a recital at the end of every dance year. We get to be creative when we dance in an extra part because we make our own costumes! We have learned to have more confidence in myself and others. My name is Alayna. I have been taking dance class for 2 years with Miss Abby, and I like dance class. I like learning how to do ballet and tap. My favorite thing about dance class with Miss Abby is the pretending games that we do. Miss Abby is nice. She likes dance class too. And she likes seeing all of us at dance class. We are the best dancers. I can't wait to do jazz and ballet this year! Miss Abby is the best dance teacher!

I am six years old. I have been dancing with Miss Abby since I was three years old. She is a good dance teacher because she is very understanding and encourages all her dancers. She makes all of the dancers feel good. If you are shy you can just watch until you feel comfortable to dance with the other girls. On my first day of dance class that is what I did. I love Miss Abby! Thank you Miss Abby for helping me make new friends and helping me learn how to dance.
